By homeschooling our two children for 11 years, we knew them quite well.
When they became interested in potential mates, we hired their "intendeds" in our family business. They became our employees, on our staff, on our payroll, and in our daily lives before they married our children.
After two years in the business, we knew them pretty well.
And, for better or worse, they also knew us pretty well, too. Carol and I were their employers, their paychecks, their direct line bosses, and the parents of their love interests.
In spite of all that, they still decided to marry our children!
