There is a mix of opinion about the use of textbooks in homeschooling. Some say use only textbooks, others say use them as tools, and some say, never use them. Most of us grew up with textbooks. Remember -- it was a love-hate relationship -- for some of us, mostly hate!
Our bookkeeper received a phone call from her 7-year-old daughter at school. Her daughter was in the nurse’s office because she had “tossed her cookies” during class.
Mom said, “Oh, honey, was it something you ate?” “Yeah,” she replied, “It looked like the cereal I had for breakfast.
“Oh, I’m sorry honey.”
“Mom, I threw up all over my math workbook!”
“Oh, that’s terrible."
“Well, I had two wrong anyway.”
