1.  The school committee calls a meeting,
     appoints a subcommittee,  and studies
     the pit.
2.  The special ed director suspects a
     learning disability caused the fall into
     the pit.
3.  The teacher’s union says you must be
     certified to help children in the pit.
4.  The superintendent says if they had
     more money, they could fill in those pits.
5.  The public votes to put more money
     into the pit.
6.  The private schools insist they have a
     better pit. 
7.  Meanwhile, the parent reaches down and pulls her
     child out of that pit.
