My wife presents a homeschool workshop entitled, “Lessons from the Turtle."
She explains how risky it is for us to venture out into unknown areas. Venturing out takes us out of our comfort zone. Then she observes, “Even the turtle makes no progress until she sticks her neck out."
As homeschoolers, we are sticking our necks out. But we must. Yes, there is a price to be paid for this risk, but there is a price to be paid if we DON’T take this risk.
Carol brings in her homeschooling experiences and concludes that it is all worth it. Staying in the shell of our comfort zone does not get us where we need to be. We must stick our necks out.
