Do not allow your children to wear down your wife unmercifully. Your wife will wear-down enough with the normal “wear and tear,” but you can tell when the children are causing the “wear and tear."
When you see this happening to your wife, somehow you need to find a way to protect her from the children.
Your wife is your lifelong partner. She is your long-term investment. Don’t let her take a beating from your temporary charges (your children).
Maybe that sounds cruel, to think of your wife as taking a beating from your children, but they do have a way of (occasionally) getting under the skin and causing irritation.
Protect your wife and you’ll protect your long-term investment.
