Pg 071: Sean's story

 

 

Let me tell you about Sean.  He and his parents came to our office when Sean was starting the 9th grade.  We helped them design a program, and they controlled all the content in Sean’s courses.

 

From the time he started to the time he completed his diploma, it took 14 months! These were all the requirements as outlined by his state, and it took 14 months!

 

And this was no wimpy program...during those 14 months he completed 25 college credits from the University of Maine.  Oh, and he was just 15 years old!   That’s right -- age 15, and he finished all the state requirements for his high school diploma.

 

Not every homeschooler should be expected to repeat Sean’s accomplishments, but isn’t it great to know you have choices!
