Pg 068: Tuna fish oil

Family

Sometimes the problem-solving our children tried worked for the moment, but had interesting consequences later.

One Friday we were leaving to visit family a few hours away.  We planned to stay overnight for a few days and return Sunday night.  It was a hot, humid July in Maine.

Stephanie, about 11 years old, decided to make tuna fish sandwiches before we left. She opened the tuna can and looked around for a place to pour the tuna oil.  Since mom was using the kitchen sink, she decided to empty the tuna oil into my bathroom sink.

We left for our weekend trip and all seemed well.  When we returned late Sunday night, everything was still fine until I bent over my bathroom sink to brush my teeth!

Two days of hot, humid temperatures, and no air conditioning made for a very aromatic experience!
