Pg 061: Bureaucrats hold grudges...

 

There were times when the process of moving the rules and regulations along seemed frustrating. It was a slow, tedious, process fraught with “ what if’s.”  But the job got done.

 

Career bureaucrats are formidable obstacles offering predictable inertia!  They do not like to change, and they hold grudges.

 

Even 21 years after the battles, there are people in the Maine Department of Education who still do everything they can to oppose homeschooling.
