Pg 050: 5 Milestones on the way to adulthood

 

On the way to adulthood, there are five milestones to reach (and to watch for).

 

1.  Morals:  knowing that some things are right and some things are wrong.

 

2.  Values:  some things are more valued than other things, some things are more important than others.

 

3.  Ethics:  based on our morals and values, we act a certain way.

 

4.  Problem-solving:  when faced with a problem, how do we set out to solve it?

 

5.  Decision-making:  based on my skills in the four areas above, what decisions will I make?

 

(The better the decision-making becomes, the closer the child is to adulthood.)
