Pg 035: Homeschool leader in the "early days"

 

Being a leader in the early homeschooling movement was quite different -- there were almost no examples to follow, no pattern had clearly emerged.

 

It seemed like we were homeschooling with one hand and fighting the bureaucrats with the other.

 

Was it easy?  Nope.

Was it worth it? Yup.

 

The fight continues today and it amazes me that any attention is on homeschoolers at all -- when the bureaucrats who oppose us have such huge problems of their own!
