Homeschooling (note to FATHERS)

 

There are people who will attack homeschooling to your face.  Defend it, especially if your children and wife are there.   If they think you won’t defend homeschooling, they might conclude you’re not in favor of it.  They might think that you’re letting them homeschool, but don’t really believe in it.

 

It’s important that your wife and children see and hear you defend your homeschool.  Stand firm and stand tall.

 

If you can’t think of any argument on the spot, practice.  Call homeschool leaders, they’ll help you develop wording so you can defend homeschooling.

 

Listen to others, and don’t be shy about stealing phrases from those who do a good job defending homeschooling.

 

Your wife and your children need to hear your support.
