Pg 101: The wind-up watch

 

 

I was amused when my son ran into the house to report,  “Dad, you’ll never believe the new watches we saw at the mall!  They don’t have batteries, they don’t run on solar.  They have a little stem on the side   -- and all you have to do is wind it up!  And it works!!!"

 

Sometimes it is NOT the latest and greatest that does the job.  Sometimes it is the old, steady, reliable things that work.
