Pg 093: People learn what they need
Education
“People learn what they need to know when they need to know it."
Below is the same sentence with three different emphases. Try reading each sentence out loud, putting emphasis on the bold word, and hearing the differences you discover about learning.
1. “People learn what they need to know
when they need to know it."
2. “People learn what they need to know
when they need to know it."
3. “People learn what they need to know
when they need to know it.”
What did I learn from this? That my purpose in educating my children is to equip them how to find answers they 'll need when they need them. I could never teach them everything they'll need to know; rather we try to show the HOW TO FIND everything they'll need to know.
